"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."

I think that most of us have given up on something too soon at one time or another.... perhaps because we were too rigid in our thinking.

When "shit" happens we do not have to "give up"; we can take respite, re-contemplate, be flexible, modify our plan, & take another route in getting there.

Winners never quit, and quitters never win.

But if you never win and you never quit, you are an idiot.

Einstein said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

Continuing on the same path without ever changing when you don't suceed isn't going to eventually mean you will win. There has to be some change, some growth. Even Edison said that invention is 10% inspiration and 90% persperation. Without that 10% you can work and work and work and never get any closer to success than you start.

Boy, I sure seem cynical today :-)
