Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

For a person who makes his living writing a gag-a-day comic strip, Adams has some pretty profound thoughts.
I highly recommend his book "God's Debris" for anyone who enjoys a good think, but is old enough and responsible enough to realize that even though all stories are true, not all of them are real.
I'll look for that book. Thanks! And, by the way, your input was missed so I'm GLAD to see you back!
I think that creativity is really just being open to everything that could be possible and not worrying about whether or not it is "good" at that time.
Art is so subjective - we all have to figure that one out for ourselves - what to keep and what to get rid of. I substitute the word "life" for art and see this as a more global concept than just paintings.
