"Do not fear death so much but rather the inadequate life."

When we talked about this in the classroom this morning I compared life to one of those money booths where, if you are picked, you can stand inside of it for 5 minutes and the fan will blow money all about you and you get to keep everything that you can catch in that 5 minutes.

If you waste the minutes worrying about what will happen when the buzzer goes off then you walk away with nothing to show for your time.

Life is like that.

You shouldn't waste time worrying about when or how it might end - you should be seizing every moment in the meanwhile and making the most of the time that you DO have.

Is any life really wasted? Not everyone can be great.

But then perhaps it is the striving for greatness that is important, not achieving it.
