Teaching and doing are not always the same thing.

How many times have we heard or seen someone with the philosophy of:

"Do as I say and not as I do."

A good sport (win or lose) is most likely more exciting to see than the sport itself.

Case in point - this weekend I went to a Warhammer tournament. The guy who came in dead last (I was there until I beat him in the last round) is the one who also won the plaque for the best sportsman. A great guy who, even though he lost, is and has always been a lot of fun to play.
