Influenced I would say. However there are so many other things that shape and fashion us - and most in a negative way (if we let them). It would be really nice if all that shaped us were positive.
Love of money shapes a greedy person.
Love of self shapes a selfish person.
Love others shapes a kind person.
It sounds like it works but is it oversimplistic? Where is moderation in this equation?
so many of us are influenced by what we are told.but we never get to learn that there a point when yo need to follow someone and then theres a point when you need to be yourself, be what you want and be who you are. there is a fine line between these two things but once you find it you will get far in life.
