Unfortunately, fighting seems to be easier than the work and investment that peace requires.
I agree with this. Unfortunately, it is true that at this stage of human evolution there are still many people who believe that killing is a way to make a statement.
It would be truly amazing to see what we could do if we didn't have to dedicate so much time, money, energy and lives to killing each other, and instead could dedicate it to bettering life for everyone.
