Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

No one has ever gone wrong by understimating the intelligence of large crowds of people.
Unfortunately for everyone, we are currently breeding the human race for stupidity.
A few decades ago, if someone were too stupid to live, by doing something like trying to trim their hedges with a lawnmower, then they would kill themselves, removing themselves from the gene pool (hopefully before they spread their stupidity). Now they win lawsuits instead, to encourage more stupid people.
Be afraid any time you see an 'idiot label' on a product warning against doing something completely stupid - it is only there because some idiot did just that thing, and won a lawsuit against somebody for it.
And is it just me or is it contagious?
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
I saw a phrase that I had to put up on my whiteboard at work - Weapons Grade Stupidity.
That is someone who is so stupid they are actually dangerous to be around.
