I don't know who said it, but this reminds me of the definition of wisdom : The ability to make good decisions. And you gain wisdom by making bad decisions.

The wisdom gained through mistakes seems to last much longer than that found in simply doing something right by mistake.

Learning should last a lifetime - the alternative is a dull life.

You won't learn how to do something right the first time. It takes practice and patience.You will make mistakes, and they can be learned from and help you progress. Take your time, don't try to rush through things.
