As a natural father of 4 (and step father of 1) I couldn't agree with this more. The concept of 'quality time' is a cop-out from those feeling guilty about not being there.

The children of today are the adults of tomorrow. It is the responsibility and duty of EVERY parent to take care of their children, and raise them properly. And a major component is simply being involved in their lives.

You can't even begin to put a value on how important the time spent with kids can be. The benefits may not be visible for years but you just have to know that it runs very deep and will have a lasting impact.

Don't just be in the same space at the same time because that doesn't even count. You have to actually be interacting on some level.

Don't just think about it - do it.

gifts are lovely but the best thing to do is to give your children love and care. this statement is very true love and time is a lot more thrilling than gifts. what are gifts if you never get to spend time with your loved ones.

I suspect that many a masterpiece were inspired by time spent with another human being.
