"The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis.' One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger - but recognize the opportunity."

Each crisis teaches us more and more about ourselves and the world in which we live.
During a crisis we may have the opportunities to show strength, initiative, courage, or integrity but even if we falter or fail to be the person that we want to be - we continue to have the opportunity to learn and grow if we choose to do so.
Brings to mind the saying that problems are only opportunities in work clothes.
Many things in life are not going to be smooth & easy; troubled times build character AND self confidence.
Is not every moment of our life an opportunity? We are constantly making the choices that determine our fate. A crisis simply brings to the forefront what was there all along.
