Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

Good teachers (even bad ones really) frequently "borrow" ideas from others.
The internet has really increased our access to tons of information in the blink of an eye.
In some ways, though, I think that this progress can be as crippling as it can be helpful. People need to still exercise their own brain muscles and not become too dependent on outsourcing their own intelligence.
Often times, two, or three, or four heads are better than one; for brainstorming ideas.
Rarely, should one accept another's expressed thoughts as the ultimate absolute truth.
God gave "YOU" a brain. Use it!
We all stand on the shoulders of giants. Unfortunately, that also means we have not always earned the knowledge, and thus acquired the wisdom that should come with it.
