"The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone."

Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

There are two types of sins - those of commission and omission. It is the sins of omission that are by far the worst.
We all make choices to determine the direction of our lives. Make the choices consciously. Choose what you do, act on purpose. You may make mistakes, but it is better to err because of what you choose to do than because of what you left undone.
I nearly answered this back on June 19th:
"How sad to look back on your life and regret all of the things that you could have done - but didn't.
Live life to the fullest, mistakes and all, and I would bet that there would be a lot less regrets."
Always make sure that the people in your life KNOW how you feel about them because you never know when today will be the last day that you ever see them.
I sure do hope that the people in my life who are, or have been dearest my heart KNOW that "it" has been genuine.
