It is actually quite a challenge to understand that which you don't know.
I've run into this at work - we get a new technology and are asked to submit our questions about it - but we can't because we don't know what we don't know yet.
The more we know - the more that we know how very much we DON'T know!
Does that make sense?
I'm so aware of how much that I don't know, & try to be selective as to how- or through whom I learn about "all that".
