Obviously Hitler comes to mind but look back over history at the numerous atrocities done in the name of religion. Those are still happening even today.
What is up with this? --> Your belief is different than mine therefore I must annihilate you, your family, and the culture that you live in.
Talk about absurdities!
More death and destruction has been caused in the name of religion than anything else in history.
