They say that over 80% of all communication is non-verbal - via body language, inflection, etc.
Which always makes me wonder about forums such as this - where that 80% is missing :-)
I figure that Martha meant this as a reflection of how expressive dance is but I'm totally with Puggimer in making the connection with body language carrying more weight and meaning than our actual oral language.
perhaps it might have helped had I know (and taken the time to check) who Martha Graham was anyway :-)
