My father used to say that. I didn't know that he was quoting Lincoln.
I do believe that, in most instances, this is the truth.
Happiness, like everything in life, is a choice.
We ALWAYS choose how we wish to react - most people do it unconsciously however. We choose to be happy or sad or angry.
This is about the truest thing that I have heard recently.
I love this quote too and have used it for years. One thing I have never heard though - is the context in which it was said.
Does anyone out there have any more info on this?
