Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

Hatred of any kind is limiting and confining.
We will be done in by our own prejudices and not by those whom we are prejudiced against.
THAT, is ignorance.
We hate that which we fear. We fear that which is different. We also fear that within ourselves that we don't like.
Often we are afraid of the reflections of ourselves we see in others. So we end up hating some not because they are different, but because we see the parts of ourselves in them that we dislike.
