Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

I beleive that we are more open to these things once we belive in ourselves but I have to wonder if you must have one before you can have the other.
I think that it may, sometimes, be the experience of one of those wonders that can open a person up to believing in themselves.
I so needed to be reminded of this.

It is the the risk of revealing yourself that is difficult if you don't believe in yourself, not the experience.
How many times do we prevent ourselves from fully experiencing our lives because we are afraid of the risks, often that don't even exist.
Sheesh...I know how to spell the word "believe"...
Darn dyslexic fingers!
