"You don't have to have fought in a war to love peace."

And you don't have to have experienced domestic violence to know that it is harmful.

You don't have to have been a victim of child abuse to be a child advocate.

These things seem obvious to me but maybe I'm missing something.

Many people love peace. I think that "war" or fighting is just more often the easy answer since working things out takes a lot more effort.

Unfortunately at this time in human evolution, there is no 'working things out' for many people.

It is great to love peace - but what price are you willing to pay for it?

There was a morning when america was attacked from the air. It was a wake up call that came in time to stop a madman. America came together and did just that.

We could learn a lot from what our grandfather's did after Pearl Harbor. The greatest generation did not debate endlessly about stopping Hitler and Japan. Perhaps that is why they were the greatest generation.
