Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

I find this one to be ironically descriptive of my place of employment and not just species survival.
Food for thought...
Do I stay or do I go?
I'm open to change and progress and I think that my skills could be beneficial here or in other schools, as well, so I think that I should see what options are available to me.
My mind recalled the lyrics to a song which I've heard maybe twice, but never forgot:
There's a tree out in the backyard
That never has been broken by the wind...
And the reason its still standing
It was strong enough to bend
Should I stay or should I go
If I go there will be trouble
If I stay it will be double.
The only constant in life is change. Michelle - your comment is so appropriate for my work situation right now - big changes since October, and not done yet. So many people have left.
Which is scarier - the change you willingly commit to, or the one that is out of your control?
