Hmmm... Now where have I heard this misquoted recently? :-)
Edison was all about hard work. Nothing is handed to you. Even if you have the most brilliant of ideas, it is the work to develop them that counts.
I knew I should have bought up all the real-estate back in the 80's!
'Twas but a thought... darn it.
It does not matter how brilliant an idea is if it never comes to fruition. It is the hard work in realizing that idea that makes the genius of it known to the world.
