How many things aren't done because nobody cared enough to show up?
It also ties in (in my twisted, warped mind) to the Thomas Edison quote - invention is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent persperation.
It is in the simple fact of doing things that true success emerges.
In fact, failing to show up is comparable to quitting before you've even tried!
