Welcome to the Quote of the Day! This site originated in a small, special education, high school classroom and we talk about these quotes each morning on school days. We'll share our thoughts, feelings, and personal values as we explore the words of others. We look forward to hearing your thoughts as well. If you have a quote that you would like to see used, please send it to: michelle(dot)nvs(at)gmail(dot)com (all lower case).

The only power I want is over myself.. sometimes, that's enough to manage! However, if I were to possess a magical kind of power, I would opt for the power of healing others... that would make me Jesus & ummm.... well, those would be some mighty shoes to fill. So, I'll just keep on working on myself. :)
Those who seek power are often the least capable of properly utilizing it.
At times I've felt that wanting to be president should be an immediate disqualification for the office.
Remember power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
