How often do we engage in a competition to be more nice or more polite than the other guy?
Never?
I guess it doesn't seem like it would be genuine if it was a contest and I'd rather have "real" nice than fake nice any day of the week.
My mother has often said, "Kill 'em with kindness."
fake nice == political correctness
