Going through it to get through it is what builds character, and teaches us who we really are.
Getting out without going through is most often a multitude of suicides.
Getting through and getting out aren't the same to me. Take my first marriage - I got out, I did not try to see it through. Going onward into more pain and misery is not always the solution.
