We certainly tend to learn more in the hard times than we do in the easy ones.
Difficult as it may be to see it when we are IN it; if we look deeply enough, more often than not, something of enormous value- something GOOD comes from our trials- what we think of as the "WORST" of times.
You rarely learn anything in victory, it is in defeat, and then overcoming it, that you grow.
